History of the firm
With his degree in hand, an eager young Joseph Eve marched out the doors of the University of Montana and into a large regional accounting firm. After spending a couple of years plugging away at the mundane, Joe was up for an annual review. The offer was good, but not good enough for a 25 year old on the fast track with lofty goals of success.
The solution? It was time to strike out on his own and put his ideas, vision and determination to use. By 1985 Joe, at the ripe age of 27, was the sole partner and JOSEPH EVE was on the way to becoming the accounting answer for tribal organizations and government entities across the Northwest.
Partners Todd Timboe and Tiffany Madden round out the partnership team. Todd became Auditing and Accounting partner in 1990, but has been with the firm for over 20 years. Besides playing an integral role in the growth of the tribal niche, Todd was also the first Certified Fraud Examiner in Montana. Tiffany became a partner in 1995 and handles most of the firm’s large governmental clients and runs the Billings practice.
Throughout the 90’s JOSEPH EVE was the fastest growing firm in the Northwest. The partners’ ability to make progress happen has created a firm with offices in Billings, Great Falls, and Kalispell, Montana, as well as Salt Lake City, Utah. Over 80 employees service clients across the country with our primary focus on Native American gaming and Tribal Governments and organizations. Our Salt Lake City office was opened in 2006, our Kalispell office was opened in 2007 and we are not stopping there.
